blockful is a company focused on governance security, creators of anticapture — a governance security dashboard and framework that:

  • Acts as an independent risk assessor for DAOs.

  • Makes DAO security visible, measurable, and accountable.

  • Identifies attack vectors before they materialize.

  • Encourages DAOs to take action before risks escalate.

We aim to help make Ethereum more legible and secure, without compromising credible neutrality.

How we act in governance

We stand for more efficient, equal, agile, and creative governance.

We know how difficult it is for DAOs to bring in more people to participate in their votes, and for everyone who is already there to coordinate to improve the organization.

Here’s a brief overview of our work:

We help the DAO’s decision-making process by backing it up with data and research. In this way, the organization will be able to vote on better proposals and build a more efficient and sustainable ecosystem.

A Security-Oriented Approach

blockful is constantly working to make DAO governance more secure.

We’ve seen many attacks on decentralized organizations caused by flaws in DAO structures.

At first glance, these may seem like minor concerns — such as low delegate participation — but they can lead to severe consequences: treasury drain, protocol vulnerabilities, or even the forced dissolution of the organization.

Our north star in governance is always DAO security. Not just profitability or financial efficiency — but continuously asking: Is this a new risk vector for the DAO?

With the answers, we can not only vote more responsibly but also contribute to the development of safer, more resilient governance across the ecosystem.

Renewing the Community Multisig
Voted: Alongside the renewal of the Proposal Guardian, the Renewal of the Community Multisig is essential to maintaining Compound’s security. For this reason, we voted FOR the proposal.

Delegate COMP Yield Strategy tokens to the Compound Foundation
Voted: We view the delegation of tokens by Avantgarde to the Compound Foundation as positive. These $COMP tokens can be used to protect the DAO in the event of an attack or malicious proposal, increasing the voting power of the Compound Foundation’s wallet. For this reason, we voted FOR the proposal.
