About The New Fronted

The Decentralized Fronted for Compound V3 allows any user to run a local version of the Compound interface, as well as link it to a domain and open it to the public.

Hosting the frontend on a decentralized network of P2P nodes eliminates the centralized point of failure inherent in traditional hosting.

New Features Released

Custom RPC Settings

Ability to choose which RPCs to use. The default option will be public RPCs. However, users can switch to an RPC used by a connected wallet, or manually add their own.

Market Filters

Ability to filter markets on the Lending, and Borrowing pages by network, base and collateral assets.

Price Feed Type

OR
The type of price feed and the price feed address can be easily found and validated for each asset. This is crucial for LSTs/LRTs, where Compound markets’ are used for looping.

Supply Cap Increase Requests

Users are now able to request supply cap increases for collaterals with maxed out supply. Collaterals with the most requests will be prioritized by the risk management party.

Rewards V2

Ability to incentivize users not only in COMP token but in any other asset.
