Proposal 414 Review
OpenZeppelin has reviewed Proposal 414 and the Streamer
contract called from the proposalâs execution steps.
The deployed version of the Streamer
contract differs from the audited version only in the following superficial ways:
- Minor updates to NatSpec comments at lines 47, 125, 126, and 139
- Elimination of an unused named return variable at line 141
These modifications do not affect the contractâs executable code and align with recommendations from our audit report.
Important Note: If the value of the 53,011 COMP tokens (measured in USDC) falls below 2 million USDC, the proposal will revert during the initialize
call and fail to execute. Barring this price condition, we expect the proposal will execute as intended if enacted.
The WOOF! team has demonstrated technical expertise with Compoundâs architecture through their sustained involvement with the protocol. Their implementation of the Streamer
contract incorporates appropriate accountability mechanisms and safeguards for DAO resources. Their specialized knowledge of Compoundâs systems represents a valuable technical resource for the protocolâs continuing development needs.
