Introduction/Background
We are a team experienced in DAO governance, operations, growth and research. Our members are deeply steeped in the crypto space and have multiple years of participation in protocol governance.
With delegation history for DEXs, money markets, L2s, liquid staking protocols, and stablecoins, our team is acclimated with a breadth of sectors. We also bring a diversity of work experience to DAOs–our members have consulted for companies like Immutable and dYdX, worked at crypto investment and trading firms, set up various validator nodes, and run educational events for universities.
Motivation
Compound governance has a storied history, standing as one of the earliest and most influential examples of decentralized protocol stewardship. Over the years, it has weathered many ups and downs, from organizational changes to evolving governance structures, and we’ve had the opportunity to watch it progress through these multiple stages. Compound remains one of the most important and trusted brands in DeFi. With the establishment of the Compound Foundation, we believe there is significant potential for governance to become even more impactful, adaptive, and forward-looking. As a delegate, our goal, particularly as part of the Compound Governance Working Group, is to support the DAO in every aspect of governance. This includes helping strengthen operational processes, encouraging active participation, running RFPs, etc. Plus, our multi-year exposure to onchain lending markets enables us to assess proposals critically, advocate for sustainability, and push for improvements that serve both the protocol and the DAO community.
