This forum post will serve as the thread for future Compound Community Calls. These are recurring, open calls where developers, delegates, grantees, and community members come together to discuss protocol upgrades, market updates, governance programs, and any other ecosystem initiatives. The Compound Governance Working Group (CGWG) is responsible for managing this thread and coordinating the calls.
The goal of these calls is to:
Provide regular updates on the Compound protocol and DAO.
Offer a venue for community members to present initiatives, proposals, integrations, etc.
Create an open forum for Q&A, coordination, and feedback.
Strengthen transparency and communication across the DAO.
Format & Logistics
Cadence & Timing: Biweekly, every other Wednesday, from 12:30pm - 1:00pm ET (some calls may be extended to an hour if we are hosting a guest or have extra topics to discuss).
I wanted to follow up regarding the Compound Developer Community Call scheduled for December 10th. Was there perhaps an issue with the meeting link? We received several inquiries about it on Discord, and I was also unable to join using the link provided.
Hey @Nazzy—sorry to hear that there were some issues. The call doesn’t have any associated permissions, so anyone should be able to join using that link. Perhaps there was a timing issue based on the Discord schedule:
The Discord states the call starts at 11:30am, an hour prior to the actual meeting time.
Before each call, this thread will be updated with upcoming meeting agendas, and they are also trackable on the Google Calendar. Anyone who missed the call can also refer to the associated recording in this thread.
