We are disappointed to share that the process is getting delayed as some of applicants have claimed they have voted when in reality, they didn’t.
For example, @EventHorizon claimed they have 98% record in recent 3 months.
However, They didn’t vote on “Trust Setup for DAO investment into GoldCOMP”, “[Gauntlet] - WETH Arbitrum v3 Global Param Updates”, and also “Compound Growth Program: 12 Month Term” (for both of them)
But despite such, They have put as they have voted
They also actually voted in “Treasury to Invest 5% of COMP holdings into goldCOMP Vault” but claimed they didn’t.
As trust and professionalism are key aspects of delegate and governance, it would be good to get clarity on how this happened.
Our apologies, Doo. We missed 3 total proposals (93% participation) / 2 non-canceled proposals and accidentally listed that we missed 1 (98% participation). [please feel free to confirm or request change]
To address the specific proposals:
-
“Compound Growth Program: 12 Month Term” is a proposal name that is duplicated across three separate proposals in a short window of time. We voted on 2 of the 3 identically named proposals. We accidentally missed that one of the duplicate name proposals was not voted on.
-
"Trust Setup for DAO investment into GoldCOMP’: as you mentioned we voted on one of the GoldCOMP proposals and not the other. We did state we voted on one and not the other. We just transposed the order. We voted on the first incarnation and not the second. We accidentally stated that we voted on the second and not the first. So this had no impact on the participation rate. Further, the proposal version which we didn’t participate in was canceled. So we participated in all but 2 non-canceled proposals during the assessed 3-month period, when we stated 1.
-
WETH Arbitrum v3 was the one proposal which was simply missed. We accidentally referenced our meta-level voting rather than the on-chain tally record. E.g. not all meta-level snapshot votes translated to compound on-chain votes. This was further complicated by the slight differences in naming between the meta-proposals and base proposals.
also “Compound Growth Program: 12 Month Term” (for both of them)
As an additional note, we did vote in one of the Compound Growth Program proposals. Though, just as you may have misstated that we didn’t participate in either (when we did participate in one), we would stand by the notion that like your slight misstatement, our clerical error of 2 proposals (one of which was canceled) isn’t exactly a ‘disappointment’ and is the exact reason for checks and assurances. Checks we knew would occur from the original post.
In general, we are all here in good faith to build a better community and would rather refrain from assuming disappointments of one another.

Hi thanks for the clarification, your team is now correct that you did vote in one of the Compound Growth Program proposals and missed 3 votes total during that time.
That’s also fair and my apologies.
We are re calculating points and will share with the community as soon as they are ready.

All points have been tallied and verified for this first delegate race. A total of 18 delegates submitted an application, and 8 were selected into the program–below is a table outlining the finalists. The assigned votes metric is how much COMP in voting power will be delegated to the given wallets.
The total sum of the assigned votes, as previously agreed, is 250k COMP. There was a tie breaker between @allthecolors, @Avantgarde, @EventHorizon, and @sharp. The tie breaker was resolved by referencing each delegate’s first vote.
Entity |
First Vote |
Allthecolors |
Jun 20th, 2021 |
Avantgarde Finance |
Jul 29th, 2022 |
Event Horizon |
Dec 9th, 2023 |
Sharp |
Jun 25th, 2024 |
Accordingly, Allthecolors and Avantgarde were topped up to 80k votes, and Event Horizon was given 50k votes as they began with 4588.74 in voting power. The leftover votes from the 250k sum were assigned to Sharp.
A complete dashboard of all of the candidates and their respective points can be found in this spreadsheet. We will move forward with the onchain vote shortly to administer these votes.
