Hey hi, Adrien here from Ledger, I would like to share an idea with you all in case someone is interested and would like to take it forward, to apply for a grant for instance.
The idea is to get Compound accessible from the Discover section of Ledger Live. Some well known DApps like Yearn, 1inch, Paraswap are already there.
It would take 2 technical components to be delivered:
- an update to Compound front end to automatically connect to Ledger Live, more details here Add a provider | Developers
- a plugin a piece of code in C that runs directly on the Ledger Nano in order to parse the tx and display a meaningful message to the user instead of a hash, more details here Overview | Developers This plugin will have to be audited by a security company cf Security Audits | Developers
The end result is Compound being searchable in Discover (like THORSwap for instace) and increasing the security for all its users thorugh Ledger Live thanks to the plugin.
