Activating the Indian Community for Compound

Hey everyone,

I was going through the forum recently and came across Jorstack’s post highlighting a drop in community engagement and activity.
We’ve noticed the same and we’d love to help change that.

One way we believe we can contribute is by activating one of the largest crypto markets in the world both in terms of users and builders - India.

We’re a team that has built grassroots communities from the ground up through content and events.
We created Namaste Arbitrum, an India-first community that produces high-quality, educational, and governance-focused content for Arbitrum.

Here’s what we’ve done for Arbitrum:

  • Created ongoing, efficient content covering ecosystem updates, governance, and tutorials
  • Hosted a 10-college roadshow and multiple community events
  • Built a strong, engaged social media presence
  • Made a 10 episode video series in 6 languages

Now, We Want to Do the Same for Compound

We’d like to build an India-first Compound community that:

  • Creates content regularly: short-form (threads, reels, posts), long-form (video explainers, weekly updates)
  • Covers governance & ecosystem updates in a way that’s digestible and engaging
  • Run events: meetups, campus tours, workshops, focused on onboarding builders and users

What Have We Already Done for Compound?

We’d love to know what the community thinks.

There’s a better way to go about this. I suggest looking into Questbook.
