The recent release of the ENS governance token is a true DAO. Constitutional voting by early users followed by governance that is truly decentralized and most importantly users given the choice to delegate or be involved. This is how we began and thankfully this protocol understood the importance of those individuals and supported those that saw something special in what was being developed.
This protocol has steered so far away from its principles and roots that it saddens me. This movement originated from fear of financial monopolization and was able to grow by the power of those that opposed the financial oligarchs that cause our country immense financial pain.
This was one of my favorite projects of the early days in crypto and has shown that greed conquers even the brave.
